About

I am a recent member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Prior to this year I had read through most of the Book of Mormon and attended services and sacrament. I have also been baptized in the church. Raised in a mixed Southern Baptist, Jewish family, I come from an interesting cultural tradition of celebrating Jewish Sabbaths and holidays and history. However, I also go to church and believe in the New Testament. When I came to the Mormon church for the first time in 2017, I was not easily swayed to believe in certain doctrines because of a vast knowledge of Old Testament and New Testament history. As I grew though, I came to find truth in the Book of Mormon and true grace and kindness in its church members. This year, I am reading through the entirety of the book. As I do so, there are amazing insights I am finding. This blog is dedicated to unveiling those for the world to also understand.
